Founded in 2012 by one of the first network news anchors of Indian heritage and a global media professional, Saris to Suits advances women’s empowerment, education, gender equality & social justice
Saris to Suits focuses on building awareness and supporting key organizations in a concerted effort to break down the barriers that constrain the advancement of women and girls. We seek to shine an illuminating light on factors that can advance women’s empowerment, cultural awareness, and social justice.
Saris to Suits Empowered Calendar of Inspirational and Empowered Women is at the center of our ongoing efforts. These exceptional women (immigrants and daughters of immigrants) and their compelling stories are living proof of where there’s a will there’s a way, through education, hard work, and perseverance. Our role models inspire thousands of women and girls nationally and internationally.
The calendar is not only a potent awareness and fundraising vehicle for many non-profit groups serving women and girls, but also for sponsoring corporations committed to women’s empowerment.
