A message for potential sponsors

Ask us about our sponsorship deck and benefits – in addition to making a difference in the lives of many women and girls.

Our role models represent compelling stories of immigrants and daughters of immigrants who arrived to the U.S. with nothing other than the promise of opportunities and the American Dream:  From a 2014 Harvard Business School and MIT graduate – the grand prize winner of a social enterprise that makes biodegradable sanitary pads from waste banana leaves for women and girls in underserved parts of the world; to a PhD in Computer Science who weight-lifts at the Olympic level; to a seasoned highly-respected journalist who was once abandoned as a newborn at the doorsteps of an orphanage in a subcontinent in which girls are often unwanted.

Saris to Suits Raises Diversity/Women’s Empowerment Awareness via Focused Media Campaign.

The campaign and its role models are featured on FOX, CNN, BuzzFeed, and the BBC, ethnic and mainstream media.

Calendars and digital downloads are distributed across the globe each year, with logos of corporate sponsors of several of the distinguished women. One sponsor chose a logo for STEM role model while another sponsored the month of a journalist holding its paisley tumbler alongside her laptop for product placement.

- Maya Angelou

Garments such as “saris” or “suits” do not make a person more or less empowered.  Rather, our trademarked and registered brand implies these savvy and worldly women travel fluidly between continents, chasms, and communities AND serve as real-life role models for young girls and women. It has multiple meanings – East to West, woman to man, and the assimilation process reflected in attire occurs when women enter the workforce.

Saris to Suits ®  is incorporated as a non-profit public charity, and exempt from federal tax under 501(C)3 Revenue Code, which means contributions are deductible under section 170 of the code.
